REVENANT-OSCULOUM ET MORTIS

Cuando descubrí este E.P de cinco temas titulado OSCULUM ET MORTIS ,pensaba en un principio,que se trataba de mi adorada banda de New jersey de death thrash técnico,la misma que grabó el fabuloso,PROPHECIES OF A DYING WORLD,que había regresado con nuevo disco,pero la verdad y no quiero desmerecer el trabajo de esta potente banda,pero me desilusiono un poco.Esta banda del mismo nombre que los citados ,originarios de Pittsburgh(usa),practica un sonido diferente en cuanto a metal extremo se refiere,mezclando influencias de death metal melódico,técnico,con deathcore y slam brutal death,ciertamente contemporáneos y actuales.La producción y masterizacion  a cargo de Phil Pluskota de Sonic Assault Studios,está a la altura de grande trabajos del genero ,con un sonido muy actual y definido,donde todo se entiende, aun interpretando musica brutal ,aceleradisisma  y extrema.La verdad yo creo que es un proyecto de otros músicos que se han juntado para este trabajo de bandas como; The Breathing Proces, Legends Shall Fall,I Killed Everyone, Fit for an Autopsy, y A Night at the Chalet...con la intención de mezclar varias tendencias extremas y cuyo resultado es ciertamente moderno brutal y sugerente..
un disco muy remar-cable para fans de las nuevas tendencias en death metal y musica extrema,que busca bandas contemporáneas que mezclan sin complejos varias tendencias

INTO DARKNESS -INTERVIEW-ENGLISH

           

           

One of the most remarkable bands of the death metal scene of Germany, since the end of the 90s, with a very particular sound, in a very extreme and aggressive mixture of European and North American death metal, with excellent productions, emphasizing its disc of 2015 SINISTER DEMISE through the label Rising Nemesis Records, we talk to Seb "Sebastard" Längerer, vocalist and guitarist of the band, to tell us at what time the band and their next projects are located.

Hallo Rasputin, thank you so much for the Interest in Into Darkness and for the Interview. 

How to form the band, by what members and with what musical and lyrical concept?

I formed Into Darkness together with another Guitarist (Christian Popp) back in 1995. We wanted to write some new kind of melodic yet brutal Death Metal, a fusion of European and Florida DM. We were just 2 Guys dealing lyrically with Fantasy, Demons and everyday Cruelties. There were no other Bandmembers until 1997, when we found our Bassplayer Floh and later that year our first Drummer Tik. We had just released our Tape Album “Misfortunal Odes in D-Minor”. The first Liveappearance was in 1999. 
 
What trajectory has the band had to this day, how many albums
, Have you recorded and what tours have you performed?

Well having our first Lineup gave us more Possibilities. In 2000 we toured Europe for 3 weeks together with Nunslaughter (US) and Centinex (SWE), there were also 3 Shows in Spain. Then 2001 we toured with Dementor (SK) and Defiled (JAP). After this the Band sat on hiatus for some years as we had no Lineup, just me. That´s when I recorded our Album “Dysphoria”- 3 Times as we had so many Bandmembers leaving and coming, holding us up so many Years. We played shows and smaller tours in this time too, but with everchanging Members. “Dysphoria” was released only in 2012 on Rising Nemesis Records, just in time before we toured Brazil the first time together with Misery Index and (USA) and Centurian (NL). After that we recorderd “Sinister Demise” and toured again Brazil with Nervecell (UAE) and our fine friends Nervochaos (BRA). This Album was also released through Rising Nemesis Records and Sevared Records in 2015. Currently we have a 4 Piece Lineup again and are right in the middle of recording our 4^th Album, wich is still untitled. We think that it might be called “Damnatus”, lyricwise this Album will deal about War and Conflicts. “Sinister Demise” was a lyrical Album about a dying person in Hospital, dying slowly in terrible agony, having many emotional backflashes and druginfused Visions and Hallucinations.
 
How is the process of composing a disc of INTO DARKNESS?
 

Well mostly it all starts with a riff Robert (drums) I or have while propably taking a dump. This Riff gets perfected over days of jamming and then we add a cool Rhythmsection on the Computer, push back and forth until we have a basic song we can rehearse altogether. Then we add Lead/Solo Parts, special drumfills and after that we add the Lyrics. As I do Vocals and Guitars we always have to be able to play it musically first, then I add the vocals after. This new Album, for the first Time it´s all 4 Bandmembers contributing their Songs and parts and we´ll have a democratic Selection on the Songs that will be recorded, we´re pretty excited.

You are faithful to the style of death mteal old school of the 90, in my opinion.Have you ever thought of adding any other element of extreme metal to your music?

Well first of all thanks for the roses, that´s what I wanted to read . We add a “new” vibe on every Album, on “Misfortunal Odes in D Minor” we were totally into Heavy Metal, Black Metal Mix Bands such as “Bewitched”, “Sacrilege” or Dan Swanö influenced Bands. “Dysphoria” was more into “Death” or “Immolation” soundwise, with a dark lyrical edge. “Sinister Demise” was more technical and more groove, bur more US Style. We will not suddenly turn Deathcore or Techdeath, no fears please.

Being a band with a foundation in the 90's so long you had a decade of inactivity How did I return after so many years to the activity?
 

 We/I were never inactive, just trying to find new Members, teaching them the songs. My Motivation was Fans asking me to continue and my inner voice telling me since 22 Years: Keep going 150% as long as you can!!

Tell us about your latest album the disc 'SINISTER DIMISE'
 

We´re pretty proud of this outtake and it took us in all 1,5 Years to record. Writing the songs themselves took us (Robert and Me) 6 Months. We recorded with Alexander Brusenzev who was also Bassist in Into Darkness during the “Dysphoria” Days. Lyrically it is a very strong and intensive Album, musically it was quite challenging. For the first time we had many Guest contributions to spice it up. Also by Hannes Grossmann (Ex-Necrophagist/Obscura, Alkaloid, Blotted Science) he wrote and recorded the killer soli for “Manifesto”. We´re also very proud of our killer matching Artwork by Joe Petagno (Motorhead, Angel Corpse, Vader).

 When new material of the band, I suppose you already have new themes for an upcoming work, will you release it again with Rising Nemesis records?

As mentioned afore, we´re right in the songwriting Process, 5 Songs almost done, we plan 10 Songs. Right after this interview i´ll meet with 2 of my Boys to continue on the new Album. So far we have no Label yet and also no Releasedate. We planned to start recording Drums this Autumn with Alex Azzali (Alpha Omega Studios) in Como Italy.

SIDE VIPER ,con los temas:WITCHCRAFT I / / HELL´S VIPER,HADES WHORE,INFERNAL CUNT, y BLACK ROCK ´N´ROLL,y SIDE COVEN,con los temas:NOWHERE TO RUN ,THE COVEN, THE DEVIL RIDES OUT, VENOMOUS CHALICE (Spit of the Serpent), y (She Is) HOT AS HELL.
El sonido de la producción ,que da la impresión que son dos grabaciones distintas,refleja el estilo añejo ,que esta banda practica con pasión,con una idea clara de sonar bien clásico ,y creo que esta grabado de manera muy orgánica,yo creo que la mayoría de instrumentos con toda la banda tocando en directo.
HELLBREAKER esta claro no inventan nada pero recrean el sonido añejo del buen metal de los 80 ,que tanto me gusta con convicción y el resultado es realmente bueno ,si te gustan las bandas de speed metal de los 80 y las del primer thrash tirando a death ,te gustara esta fantástica nueva producción de esta banda paisa,que ya pude ver el el METALHEADS CONSPIRACY 2017 que organiza el incombustible y verdadero apoyo de la escena colombiana JAIDER MEJIA,con una actuación que bordaron de verdadero metal.
No le perdáis la pìsta a esta muy buena formacion de metal en la vena ,cruda y potente

INTERVIEW(ENGLISH)-SCARS OF THE FLESH

One of the most interesting bands in the extreme scene in TEXAS(U.S.A),mixing agression,melody and catchy death metal grooves,and one of the most exciting albums in the american death movement in 2017,we speak with the band to talk abouth the band's origins and his next proyects

1 - WHEN, WHEN AND WHY DO MEMBERS BEGIN THIS EXTREME METAL PROJECT?

We started Scars of The Flesh to prove several points and I will give you the main two. First off to make music we see fit to represent some of the things that we feel most people arent talking about or doing. Second, we are making music for ourselves and the stuff we are writing is very personal, very deep. We as musicians have to find our medium to release whatever we are feeling into what we feel is art, Scars of The Flesh does that for us, gives us a different voice, a different narrative for us then our other projects.

2-WHAT TRACK HAS HAD THE BAND TO THE CURRENT?

Probably the first track we released and also the first track on Harvest of Souls which is Birth Defect. We also have a lyric video online on youtube if anyone wants to check it out.

3-WHAT IS THE LYRIC AND MUSICAL CONCEPT OF THE BAND?

Well the concept can be anything we desire because Scars is held by no boundary. Our debut album Harvest of Souls, plain and simple is about death. We know bands are always talking about death, but the type of death this album speaks of is the kind we expierence on a day to day level. The mental death, the physical death, and most importantly the spritual death. For example, Reduced to Rust is about our lives and the role drugs play, how they become all you want and all your money is spent on. Consuming all you can get your hands on until you finally wither away. Mortal Release was written about losing a loved one, it can be friend, family, or our instance was written about the passing of Bryan's cat Bones. It's difficult to cope with loss sometimes and writing this help give us clarity. Then you have Serial Madness and Last Rites. A made up story of a serial killer hell bent on making widows, stalking loved ones and taking their life. The torment of his mind and why he does it. Last Rites is a continuation of Serial Madness where our killer is incarcerated and questioned by police and media about his reasons for this. Then leading to his execution because he is no longer fit for this world. The other important thing about Scars of The Flesh is its very personal, very self reflective. Every track on this album is somehow tied to a past expierence or relation of the topic spoken of by one of us. Obviously none of us are murderers like our guy in Serial Madness, but it a personification of "if" one of us was, I step into the shoes of the poor soul living this madness and I envision it to description and detail.

4-WHAT DO YOU INSPIRE TO COMPETE THE SCARS OF THE FLESH MUSIC?

We just hope someone out there hears this and wants to have it live. Our number one priority is just getting our music out there. Making people soak it up and create some kind of attachment to it, like we have. We are making this music to touch people in places they normally ignore or pacify. We are also looking to complete our true line up for we still need a permanent bassist and drummer. We are doing all roles now so to go live we need those two important parts. We always want to create epic music that rings with the spirit and breaking it, rebuilding it. 

5-YOUR EXTREME METAL STYLE IS REALLY SUGGESTED.COMBINING VARIOUS RECORDS AND ELEMENTS, HOW IS THE WAY TO COMPOSE THE

MUSIC IN THE BAND?

We just write what feels natural. We write to better ourselves as musicians and as people. Our music is our therapy so anything angry, sad, happening in our lives it is put into this. Our influences as a band are pretty spread out ranging from Hypocrisy, SepticFlesh, Amon Amarth, Immortal, Arch Enemy, Death, Nevermore......the list goes on and on. We take it all in and this is what we have created. 

6-THE ARTWORK OF THE ALBUM IS EXCELLENT, WHO CARES TO DESIGN IT?

We got this done by Dwi at Genocide Artwork. He does a fantastic job with taking our idea and bringing it to life. Very skilled hand at making lyric videos, promo videos, and just designing 360 degrees of the album front to back. Anyone needing artwork needs to talk to this guy because he is very prompt and professional plus he never lets us down for the various artworks he has done for us. Bryan and Kobey have another band called Wings of Abaddon and he did the last two album artworks for those. Even Bryan Eckermann solo project uses him for all 4 of his album covers so he is just our go-to guy for getting what we envison coming to life.

7-HARVEST OF SOULS, IT HAS A CERTAINLY EPIC AND MELODY ESSENCE BUT A STRUCTURED AGGRESSIVITY. WILL THIS BE A CONSTANT IN THE BAND?

More than likely. We love making epic music. Our sound resonates in us to the point that listening to it still gives me chills, literal chills. I can't believe the music we have made and the pain I released into it. That refreshijg moment of release, nothing equals that and that is what you will find in our music. Next album will totally have a different concept lyrically other than death. We havent started on it yet but we are brewing some stuff together. Right now our main focus is getting Harvest of Souls on anyone's playlist or in their hands. Harvest of Souls is just the beginning of something huge.

8-WHAT'S NEXT OBJECTIVES HAVE THE BAND?

Finding our drummer and bassist then revving up some live shows. We definitely want to create some steam before our debut show so we are hoping this album will help that along. We want more merch to choose from and we want to be on all download sites so we are accessible anywheinterview -SCARS OF THE FLESHre and everywhere. We are confident the music speaks for itself and will help us find what we are looking for. We will also be releasing another lyric video in the future so keep an eye out for that. SYMPHONIC NIGHT FEST-Sala Bombay-02/07/17

Cita en este domingo de puente festivo ,con el emergente metal local de la ciudad de Medellin,en este caso en un evento ,para todas las edades y poyado por el colectivo CODA,que se encargo del sonido y la logística ,con una claro objetivo de mostrar las formaciones de metal sinfónico y gótico de corte melódico que trabajan en el área del valle de Aburrá con formaciones casi es su totalidad por vocalistas femeninas.
Comenzaban bien temprano la formación de heavy metal BROKEN SKY,con un heavy metal de corte clásico,con temas propios y algunos covers y que en su formación la forman tres guitarristas,con buena instrumentación,pero que han de trabajar mas su puesta en escena pero que puntaban maneras.

La siguiente banda en subirse ala escenario fue ITHIRIA,la primera de la noche con vocalista femenina,de gran nivel instrumental y cantando en español, con una excelente vocalista  y teclista, e interpretando un metal sinfónico,con algún matiz extremo,eché  algo mas de ritmo en su show ,pero fue remar-cable su actuación.

 Los siguientes fueron ATHEMESIS banda con una excelente vocalista también,y que sugerente-mente combinan el metal sinfónico con matices de metal extremo, y pasajes de ambientes románticos,muy cercano a la gothic doom de THEATRE OF TRAGEDY de mediados de los noventa,cantando en español y que llevan una trayectoria que comenzó en 2009,muy buena actuación e instrumentación,muy destacable su canción "LORELEI".
 

 

  

MIDNIGHT KULT ,a mi modo de ver fueron los mas flojos de la noche ,quizá por que su actuación no cuajo mucho entre el publico y que parecían un poco distantes ,su death doom de corte lírico,muy oscuro y old school cantando en español,pudo no ser muy bien entendido esa tarde,aun así les seguiré la pista,ya que me resulto interesante su propuesta.

 A continuación,les tocó el turno a GNOSI,que para mi fueron de lo mejor de la noche,con una excelente puesta en escena,seguridad en el escenario y buena interpretación, con su metal sinfónico con elementos extremos muy cercano a EPICA,como por citar un referente.Una banda que les queda mucho camino por recorrer ya que es una formación muy joven,pero con gran futuro si siguen trabajando duro,tocaron composiciones propias y algún cover demostrando mucha actitud y energía.



ARMENTUM cerraron la tarde noche de este domingo festivo,con metal sinfónico cantado en español por dos vocalistas femeninas y,con alguna colaboración de vocalista masculino en alguna canción,bien enérgicos y 
melódicos.
 Una buena muestra de las bandas que forman la escena de este estilo de metal en la ciudad de Medellin y un buen show para ver el talento local

GRUESOME-FRAGMENTS OF PSYCHE-RELAPSE RECORDS 2017

Nueva edición en formato de E.P de la banda que mas fielmente y sin tapujos ni disimulos,continua el legado de Chuck schuldiner y DEATH,con un reciente ep  encabezado por el tema que da titulo al mismo "Fragments of psyche".En sus propias palabras inspirado ,por el sonido de DEATH en su época del disco "Human",acompañados en este tema por el que fue baterista de la formación en ese mismo album Sean Reinert también de la formación CINIC ,mas una versión de"Chocke it" de album "Leprosy".
El resto de E.P se completa por material de la banda nunca antes editado en formato de demo,pero de muy buen sonido de su death metal de corte clásico y delicioso ,para los amantes de estilo.En estos tiempo de tantos nuevos subgéneros estrambóticos de metal extremo ,se agradecen este tipo de bandas que mantiene el legado,
de lo que fue lo que el death metal fue y nunca debió dejar de ser.

EVOCATION-THE SHADOW ARCHETYPE-METAL BLADE RECORDS 2017

EVOCATION una de las bandas mas remar-cables de la escena sueca a principios de los noventa  y que tras su disolución en 1993 en la que la banda tras mas de una década de inactividad,y que en 2005 regreso a la escena extrema con un brutal "Tales from the tomb" a traves del sello Cyclone records,con su death metal agresivo y veloz de puro sonido nordico,regresa a la actualidad con su nuevo y podria decir que mejor álbum hasta la fecha ,bajo el sello Metal blade records(usa).

 Este album titulado"The shadow archetype"se  abre con la intro,''Into ruins",que da paso a uno de los mejores temas del disco"condemned to the grave"un  medio tiempo brutal,siguiendo el veloz ,de clara escuela sueca"Modus operandi"con esas guitarras tan de sonido"gotteborg"continuan con"'Children of the stone",con un regusto de doom ,mezclado con pasajes rapidos y medios  tiempos,en una sensación muy melódica,pero si perder la agresividad,un tema con mucho gancho y bien estructurado donde las guitarras te llevan a atmósferas muy oscuras."The coroner" es uno de los mejores temas del album,con un coro muy pegadizo y una combinacion de medio tiempo y velocidad ,para dejarte el cuello,con un solo fantástico,aunque el mejor tema del disco es sin duda"The shadow archetype"que da titulo al álbum,con un doble bombo muy constante y unos sugerentes backgrounds y unos arreglos geniales en las guitarras.Llegamos a "Blind justice"donde el concepto lírico  del disco se hace mas evidente,que trata sobre las practicas sicológicas sobre la violencia y la obediencia en tratamientos de shock,experimentados por diferentes especialistas y terapeutas de diferentes ámbitos en las reacciones mentales a diferentes  mentales en diferentes reacciones extremas,sigue 'Survival of the sickest"y "Sulphur and blood"que siguen tratando estos temas de experimentacion psicológica en tratamiento de shock en una ambiente de death metal brutal con gran intencion de melodia en la guitarras,otro de los mejores temas del disco es"Imperium falls"con ese regusto a death metal sueco clásico,cerrando el album con "Dark dar sunrise" tambien con un coro muy pegadizo en un medio tiempo muy sugerente y epico.

El sonido del disco es fabuloso con  una produccion ,donde todo se escucha a la perfección y donde las voves son brutales y muy legibles,sin duda el mejor album hasta la fecha de esta poderosa banda sueca,muy recomendado.

ENTREVISTA VERTHEBRAL

Una de las propuestas,que mas nos han llamado la atención en estas ultimas ultima semanas,es la de la banda paraguaya, ubicada en Ciudad del este VERTHEBRAL,que acaba de editar su primer larga duración  con el sello ruso Satanah records titulado REGENERATION,después de su primer e.p autoeditado ADULTERY OF SOUL del 2015.

El sonido es una estimulante expresión de brutalidad y temas bien estructurados, de base old school en la mas pura onda de death metal clásico,pero sonando excitantes y vitales. 

Nos ponemos en contacto con esta remar-cable,banda latinoamericana para que nos cuenten sobre sus orígenes,su concepto musical,su reciente álbum y sus próximos objetivos

1. Hola amigos, yo soy Daniel Larroza, guitarrista en VERTHEBRAL, la banda se formó en Ciudad del Este – Paraguay entre los meses de Julio y Agosto del 2013, era mi deseo poder tocar metal más extremo desde hacía muchos años, pero nunca se concretaba por diversos motivos, uno de los principales era la escasez de músicos habilidosos e interesados en tocar Death Metal en mi ciudad, una vez encontrado a las personas indicadas, la formación inicial quedaba conformada por Daniel Larroza en guitarra, Christian Rojas en Bajo/Vocal y Gabriel Galeano en la Batería, iniciamos como un trío tocando covers de bandas que nos gustaban y paralelamente íbamos componiendo los primeros temas de nuestra autoría. Poco tiempo después se junta Alberto Flores en la segunda guitarra, un gran guitarrista, habilidoso y técnico. La banda ensambla rápidamente su sonido, dando más peso a las bases y evolucionando en cada ensayo.

¿QUE CONCEPTO MUSICAL,LÍRICO E IDEOLOGICO CARACTERIZA A LA BANDA?

2. El concepto musical que definimos desde el inicio era que VERTHEBRAL sería una banda de death metal old school, profundamente comprometida con las raíces del death metal de los años 90, ese sonido característico de las producciones de grandes bandas de las escenas de Florida (USA), Suecia, Holanda y Brasil, simplemente el death más puro y clásico sin nada de mezclas o híbridos, actualmente abundan por todo el mundo una infinidad de bandas modernas y que se alejan completamente de la esencia del death metal más tradicional. La parte lírica de las canciones abarcan diversos temas como por ejemplo: critica religiosa, agnosticismo, muerte, comportamiento humano, guerra. Las letras de las canciones son muy importantes y deben transmitir esa energía oscura y poderosa que la música pide, la parte instrumental crea esa atmosfera sombría para que la voz se imponga y complete la obra.

¿QUE TRAYECTORIA HA TENIDO LA BANDA HASTA LA   ACTUALIDAD,DISCOS,GIRAS,ETC?

3. Bueno la banda inicio en el 2013 y su primera presentación fue en Diciembre de ese mismo año, en un festival en Ciudad del Este llamado Headbangers Attack 1, de ahí en más se fueron dando varios conciertos en Asunción y Ciudad del Este, en fecha 15 de Agosto del 2015, VERTHEBRAL se presenta en Foz de Yguazu – Brasil como teloneros de la legendaria banda RATOS DE PORAO, en un excelente show. Nuestro primer lanzamiento discográfico fue un EP llamado “Adultery Of Soul” que fue lanzado en Agosto del año 2015, este material fue producido de forma totalmente independiente y nos ayudó muchísimo para consolidar nuestro nombre en la escena underground de Paraguay, fue bastante difundido y tuvo buenas críticas, entre Diciembre del 2016 y marzo del 2017 finalizamos las grabaciones de lo que seria nuestro primer Full Length, el titulo escogido fue “REGENERATION”. Las grabaciones, mezcla y masterización estuvieron a cargo de Alberto Santacruz en Abato Records. La grandiosa arte de capa fue creada por el renombrado artista brasileño Marcos Miller. El álbum contiene 10 canciones del más puro death metal clásico.

                                                                                                                                                            ¿ COMO ES PARA UNA BANDA DE DEATH METAL QUE SURGE EN PARAGUAY,DESARROLLARSE PROFESIONALMENTE EN EL METAL EXTREMO INTERNACIONAL?

Una banda paraguaya que desea proyectarse a nivel internacional sea del estilo que fuera, thrash, black o death se enfrenta a varios obstáculos, uno de los principales es la poca cantidad de materiales profesionales grabados por bandas paraguayas, son contadas las bandas que tienen reconocimiento internacional, hay poca información sobre lanzamientos, también faltan medios de comunicación especializados en metal, es un largo camino por delante.

¿POR QUE UN SELLO DE RUSIA PARA EDITAR VUESTRO ULTIMO DISCO?

El sello ruso SATANATH RECORDS se interesó desde un principio por nosotros, desde el lanzamiento de nuestro primer EP “Adultery Of Soul” ya habían conversaciones para lanzarlo por su sub-sello SYMBOL OF DOMINATION, pero no se concretizó por falta de tiempo y pequeños detalles que impidieron. En esa misma época ya estábamos con buena cantidad de temas para grabar un álbum completo, asi que la grabadora demostró mucho interés y sabíamos de la magnitud de la grabadora y su forma seria de trabajo, la promoción y distribución profesional del sello es visible. Otros sellos también nos contactaron para lanzar “Regeneration” pero ninguno ofrecía lo que SATANATH nos propuso. Consecuentemente firmamos contrato con el sello ruso y estamos muy contentos por eso.

¿COMO VEIS LA ESCENA EXTREMA EN VUESTRO PAÍS?

6. La situación es poco favorable, las bandas en su mayoría son independientes, no es fácil encontrar un buen estudio para grabar, pocas bandas graban álbumes completos, no hay infraestructura adecuada para hacer conciertos, hay pocos locales donde se pueden hacer shows, las bandas graban y producen sus discos, la distribución y promoción es muy complicada. Las personas que deberían apoyar los eventos no quieren pagar sus entradas, la envidia y el amiguismo dentro de la misma escena. Para dar ese paso “Profesional” falta muchísimo, pero solo se logra con sudor y trabajo, hay que pelear contra todos esos obstáculos, mi experiencia en ese sentido es que las bandas deben apostar fuertemente en producir algo con calidad profesional e independiente.

¿QUE PROXIMO OBJETIVOS TIENE LA BANDA?

7. Los próximos objetivos son sin duda seguir tocando y componer nuevos temas para el segundo álbum, seguir creciendo como músicos, lograr alguna gira internacional, obtener mayor reconocimiento internacional, que el nombre de VERTHEBRAL sea referencia y sinónimo de metal hecho con calidad desde Paraguay.

OVER KILL-THE GRINDING WHEEL-NUCLEAR BLAST 2017

Over kill,es una de esas pocas bandas,que existen,en el espectro del movimiento metal internacional,que no defraudan en cada una de sus producciones,y que cada para de años,nos ofrecen una nuevo producción excitante,estimulante y enérgica.Cumpliendo su cuarta década sobre los escenarios,esta formación de la ciudad de Nueva Jersey,editan recientemente a través de uno d ellos sellos mas importantes y activos,del movimiento heavy metal NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS.”The grinding wheel”

Un disco con su habitual sonido, entre heavy metal y punk rabioso de actitud agresiva,con un eterno Bobby Blitz,en la voz ,que no ha perdido,ni un poco de su potencia vocal,y que incluso ha mejorado con los años ,como el buen vino,una base ritmica en la que destaca el inmenso D. D verni,cabalgando sus cuatro cuerdas de su mítico bajo cornudo,como si marchara sobre cadáveres de estrellas de pop,y completando la formación,Dave Linsk – guitarra, coros,Derek "The Skull" Tailer – guitarra, coros y Eddy García- batería (músico de sesión que ha participado en la grabación).

Uno de los álbumes mas destacables en lo que lleva de año,en cuanto a thrash metal se refiere,una banda que no defrauda en absoluta ya aunque no es su mejor disco se mantiene solido y se reafirma en su legado a través de los  años,como una de las bandas mas solidas trabajadoras y leales del estilo que ayudaron a levantar a base de grandes discos y una actitud fuera de toda duda.

INTO DARKNESS-SINISTER DEMISE

Aún con alguno tiempo de la edición al mercado de este disco editado por la discografía Doomentia Records,de la Republica checa,recientemente llego a nuestras manos,este fantástico trabajo de veterana banda alemana,formada en (1995) en Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg.con solo dos  trabajos de larga duracion anteriores,Misfortunal odes i D minor de (1997),y Dysphoria de (2012), y un par de singles,Reanimation de (1998),y KIlling in the fron of 13 souls (2000)
Sinister demise,es un album de puro death metal de corte noventero,en una onda similar a BRUTALITY,SUFFOCATTION o MONSTROSITY,con una majestuosa producción y una ejecucion impresionante,la experiencia de estos músicos a través de los años es una pauta evidente,en las canciones de este disco ,que es una excelente demostración de brutalidad,velocidad y extremismo sonoro sin artificios;medios tiempos muy marcados,blastbeats frenéticos y todo lo necesario ,en una canciones bien estructuradas, con una voz bien dinamica y ecléctica.
en definitiva un disco que los amantes del estilo agradara mucho ,ya que tiene todo lo que un diusco de death metal necesita .
